Three World War II airplanes will be on display at Lake Charles Regional Airport/Vision Aviation for three days in March.
As part of the Collings Foundation's Wings of Freedom Tour, the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress "Nine O Nine," Consolidated B-24 Liberator "Witch craft" and P-51 Mustang Flyer will be on display Monday-Wednesday, March 10-12.
The airplanes will arrive at noon Monday, March 10, in Lake Charles. The public is invited to go inside the aircraft - $12 for adults and $6 for children.  World War II veterans can tour for free. Tours are available noon-5 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. - noon Wednesday.
Those interested in taking a 30-minute flight in the aircraft - $450 for flights on the B-17 or B-24 and $2,200 for 30 minutes flying in the P-51 or 1 hour for $3,200.
